Today I was playing with water. Quite unsuccessfully to be honest. Below you'll see my best effort.
I feel that maybe I should have had more light on the glass and the liquid as it gets a bit dark at the top. Also I might have had more luck if i'd shot with the help of an assistant to poor the liquid and manually focused the camera as glass and moving water is not the best thing to auto focus on. Finally I think i could have got a beter show with a more viscous fluid like red wine, but alas we where out of that.
As per usual opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Excellent effort...you could always use coke and ice in a glass too :) I find it more refreshing!
ReplyDeleteI guess when on your own all you can do is manually focus and set up for 10 second timer shot and pray you get it right on pouring on time :)
Well I think it looks really interesting! Id imagine its a fairly hard shot to make look interesting so well done :) xx
